The Values we have. Integrative Medicine, Holistic Medicine

Everyone will say we are focused on wellness, but our name Day Spring Wellness and Day Spring Values is our focus and has been the same since we began in 2001. We saw years ago that we had to have a focus on Spirit, soul and body to get people healed or walking in wellness.  Many people were sick because of their thinking, their guilt ...  If you didn't deal with other emotional issues the people would remain the same. Whether you want Integrative Medicine, Holistic medicine and a Holistic physician and staff, we are here for you.

In this day and age people don't have the time to identify what the real issues is.  I have seen our MD and our PA be with a patient for an hour and a half trying to determine what is really wrong with the person.  We can run many different tests to try to see what the real problem is.  A hair analysis with one showed they needed to avoid Coenzyme Q10 and another they needed to avoid calcium because it would contribute to arthritis. Everyone is different and sometime you need to be diagnosed and dealt with differently.  We try to identify what the root cause of the problem is.  The body can usually heal itself, if it has everything to do it with.  I consider this to be part of our values.

In our society today people just try to be slightly above the cut or slightly better than the other providers, but what ever happened to wanting to be the best there is.    I have had people tell me don't you know that you could hire an MD for what we pay our PA.  But our PA has so much more experience and knowledge than most MD's do.  Our Medical Director Jason Kouri, MD knows about all of the medical issues regarding giving IV's. Stem cells, O shots or p shots, sexual health issues, weight loss issues and also Regenerative medicine, Integrative medicine and Functional medicine as well as Holistic medicine. We really do believe he is best at what he does.  We look for the best providers not just someone that can do the job.

Many people will always go with what is cheapest. Why do you think KIA cars are popular?  But many people have learned that if you want the best or even better than the cheapest, you have to pay more for it.  This is why we have Ford and Chevy's. They are more expensive than Kia but usually are better quality.    

With health care it is the same. People will say it is not but look at insurance and you will see there are different levels of care depending on how good your coverage is.  Those with no insurance is the lowest, then Medicaid, then Medicare, then those with better insurance and that with great insurance. The same is true with healthcare, in theory everyone gets treated exactly the same, regardless of insurance coverage or money, but many know and believe that is not true.

If people have the cheapest prices, usually they do not have the top-of-the-line equipment and the people and providers are paid less than others.  Many times, you really get what you pay for even when it comes to healthcare. Here at Day Spring, we want what is best for our clients or patients.

Service used to be a mandatory part of any business.  Having grown up around different businesses I personally have seen how businesses no longer focus on service and many healthcare offices have service as being the last thing on the list.  If you want service, the last place you want to go is the offices of some Doctors, some are great, but some are terrible.  Serving people is merely a business concept for some businesses.

We think being of service comes from a heart of a servant.  You want to serve because your heart is right.  Some do not offer service because they don't believe in serving people.  There is a balance as with everything, for you have to say no at some point.  Some things just are not financially feasible for a business.  But know this, we value highly service.  

We are a Christain business with Christian values but believe we should be free from judging others.  The reason many people are against Christians, is that they have embraced the concept that Christians judge others.  From my experience and I have been a Pastor and a Missionary; Christians are not judgmental for one simple reason, we all know that except for the grace of God, we could all be just like the people that are being judged.  For any Christian based business we all need to be free from judging anyone.
